The humbling of America

Oh America how I have longed to gather you in my arms and heal you but you have set your face like flint against me. You cater only to your flesh; your belly is filled with everything that you desire. You withhold nothing evil from yourselves. You delight in darkness and you walk in it daily. Greed, pride and selfishness have entered your heart and you consider yourself invincible. You have convinced yourself that you can become immortal and take my authority from me. Yes, I have loved you for a long time and for a long time I have wept for you even as I wept over Jerusalem. As it was with Jerusalem so it shall be with you for judgment is ordained for you, harsh judgments like you have never seen upon your land. A people of a dark countenance have set themselves against you to destroy and overcome you. I have cried out to you to repent of your sins and of your pride but you continue farther and farther into gross darkness. Well I am a God of justice and sin demands judgment for shall I punish one nation for sin and turn a blind eye to the sins of another nation? Absolutely not! Read my word, when I brought judgment upon the nations I started in my own house. I first judged Israel and Judah before I raised my hand against the other nations. As it was then it is now. I will first and foremost judge my own house; my church shall be stripped of its pride and greed. I will humble her first then I will humble the nations with whom I have covenant. Both the USA and Israel will be judged and then finally I will judge the nations of this earth. In the end when the dust settles the whole world will know that there is a God, that I Am the great I Am. There will be no denying my existence anymore. America, I will rid you of your idols, I will cleanse my house and I will rid it of all its idols. Likewise I will bring down the idol that the nation has set up for itself for indeed there is a Bethel and a Gilgal in America, your places of worship, your idols, your symbols of power. I will judge you through them and you will drink bitter gall for water and you will sell all that you have for a morsel of bread for indeed America has bowed down her knees to men of power, men whom they have placed on pedestals and made them into idols, gods. I will bring them both down for one is worshipped by the church and another is worshipped by the rest of the nation. Yes, I see your idols, the former president was worshipped by the world and the present is worshipped by the church. Shall you have other gods before me? Absolutely not! I will judge both and use both to bring great judgment upon this nation and both my church and the rest of the nation and the world will realize that these are not gods. Everyone who has bowed their knee to these idols and have refused to repent will drink from the cup of my great judgment upon this nation yet even as in the days of Elijah I have reserved for myself those who will not bow their knee to any other except me. Yes, I have a remnant who worship only me and upon them I will have great favor, they will be filled with my power and my strength and will be a great witness for me to those who will come out of this great judgment seeking repentance, seeking peace, seeking me. I have spoken; decide what you will do with my words for they are true and faithful.

Jesus, Amen.
