Enjoy life!
Children I do not enjoy seeing you live a drab life. The life that I blessed you with is supposed to be a full life, a life filled with excitement and adventure. I created this earth for you to enjoy. To live a drab closed in lusterless life is to live below my expectations for you. I created different landscapes and climates and vegetation for you to explore and enjoy. I know many believe that a drab life full of routine is what I expect out of you. It is not. My vision for you is to enjoy all that I have blessed you with to the fullest and at the same time fulfilling the mission I have given you, the ministries I have given you. Enjoy your life my children do not be slaves to men, money and power. Enjoy this life, find pleasure in all that my hands have created for you, the oceans, the mountains, the forests, the animals. Enjoy it all, take care of it and find pleasure in it. A Christian’s life is not supposed to be a boring life. It is supposed to be filled with prayer and praise and worship yes but also with laughter and joy. Yes you should first fulfill your mission, minister to others but when you have done this live your life and enjoy the blessings I have made available to you. Go out hiking, fishing, biking, horse back riding. Whatever it is that is not sinful and gives you joy do it and let all that bothers you just slip off your shoulders as you put your cares aside and enjoy your life. Have I not said cast your cares on me, do it then go out and share your life and joy with others. So many of you have forgotten how to have fun. You have let the acquisition of wealth, power and status consume you to the point where your life is just a long string full of all kinds of stress. Even the days you have off from work are not enjoyable. They are filled with worry, concern and more stress when instead they should be filled with peace, rest and joy. You have forgotten how to relax and have fun. Many spend so much time working especially in their younger years that their own children grow up and are gone out of the house before they know it. They never took time off to spend with the children doing fun activities. Remember activities do not have to be expensive or involve a long journey. A weekend fishing with the kids in a nearby creek is sufficient if that is all you can afford. Do not overly stress yourself in order to go on an expensive vacation. You may enjoy it for the moment but when you return home you will return to the same stress you were trying to get rid of. What then is your joy? Live within your means and be creative. You can enjoy a great vacation camping in your own backyard than having to go into debt in order to afford an away from home vacation. Plan ahead, save whatever you can and then go out and enjoy yourselves you and your loved ones. Make happy memories for you and for your children. Remember your children more often than not follow your example. Therefore be a good example as a spouse and as a parent. I love you; enjoy this life that I have blessed you with.
