Follow my path

Children you know that the plans I have for you are for good and not for evil but I never said to accomplish them would be easy. Sometimes the road that you must travel through life can be rocky, full of thorns and briars but if it is the path I have chosen for you the journey will be worth it. If you know that I am leading you where you are going do not doubt what I have called you to do. Just because you hit a few snags along the way does not mean that you did not hear from me. Some of you have heard me calling you to a particular path, you know it was I who spoke to you and I opened the way for you to walk that path. Now all of a sudden you hit a bump in the road and there is a moment of hesitation, frustration even a little struggle and you do not know what way to turn. You begin to doubt me; you question whether you truly heard me or whether you were following your own personal desire. You turn to the left and to the right still there is no relief for you, you call others seeking help and you find none. In desperation you try everything you know to do to get past the bump in the road. Finally when all else fails you turn to me in defeat, pain and hurt. My children if I called you to walk a certain path and you know that it was I who called you why do you not come to me first when you hit the bump in the road? I know this path, I chose it for you. I know every bump you will come across and it is only I who will see you through. Therefore come to me first for I am the one responsible for the path you are following. The sooner you learn to come to me first the faster you will get past the bump. Do not let pride come in and steal your blessing from you, do not let it make you think that all the things you possess and all the things you have done came by through your own abilities and intellect. I am the Great Planner, the Great Architect. I have a path that I desire you to follow. However I will not force you to do anything, you must choose to walk this path and my promise to you is this, since you have willingly chosen to walk the path I have personally set before you I will faithfully see you through it to the end. Will you come across challenges? That you will. Will you have some painful moments? Assuredly you will. Will you even reach a point where you doubt that it is I who called you? You surely will. These are bumps in the road and no matter how painful it is to walk this path I assure you the end will be worth the pain. Do not give up, do not give in; cling to my strength and my faithfulness. One day the sun will break through the angry clouds that were blocking it and you will receive relief. I have chosen this path for you, I have placed all that you need inside of you so that you may walk this path and complete this assignment. You through me are well capable of completing the race I have given you to run. Trust me; believe me I am with you always.

Jesus.
