God is love

I love my children; every single one of them is special to me. I have all kinds of children from every race. I love them all the same, none is above another. All who are covered by the blood of my son are mine. I gave up my precious son, my only begotten son that I may adopt a people for myself. My love is too immense for just one person or one nation. For this reason I sent my son to die on a cross that I may have children from every nation on this earth. I created them all, I love them all. For centuries I have been accused of being aloof, totally unreachable but I made a way for man to reach me easily by sacrificing my own son on a tree. I would not allow Abraham to sacrifice his son to me but I gave up mine that you may have a chance to come to me to have a relationship with me. How many fathers would sacrifice their son? None, I sacrificed mine that you may live and not die. I love you more than you know. I have always loved you and I can never stop loving you. I do not sit on my throne waiting for you to mess up so I can punish you. I look over so many of your weaknesses for so long by warning you about them instead of punishing you every time you fail. I give you a long time to change, to repent, to stop. Finally after several warnings I have no choice but to discipline you for I am a Father who loves His children and because of this love I must correct you, I must discipline you, I must lead you back to the right path. Instead of meting out punishment for every sin you commit I look for ways of blessing you. I show you great kindness; my mercy and grace are ever extended towards you. I prompt others to pray for you and I remember and hear their prayers for you and I use these intercessory prayers to give you chance after chance. I forgive you for every sin that you sincerely repent of and I choose to forget them, I bury them in the sea of forgetfulness. I listen to all your prayers, the sincere and the selfish ones. Your prayers are ever before me as sweet burning incense on my altar, that is, the sincere ones. But when you send up prayers with wickedness in your heart, unrepentance and vengeance they come up as a putrid smell before me and even then I do not look down and strike you dead, instead I send my healing balm to you that your heart may heal, that you may let go of bitterness and forgive others. I am ever looking for ways to show you my goodness and bless you with my gifts. I am a gift giver not a gift taker. You may give up your gift but once I bless I do not take back my gifts for they are given without repentance on my part. Therefore children stop accusing me of evil for I have no part in wickedness. Come taste and see that I your heavenly Father I am good and out of me proceeds only that which is good. My arms are wide open, reverence me yes but do not be afraid to come to me. I love you, I left the evidence of it on Calvary’s cross, the bloodstained flesh covered cross that bore my only begotten son, Jesus. I love you, I always have and I always will.

Your Heavenly Father,

Amen.
