Hope

Your beginning and your end is known to me children. Nothing about you and your life is a surprise to me yet I hold out hope always that you will come after me with all your heart. For what kind of life can a man have if he does not hope for good? Hope is like a far away light in the middle of a dark valley. A light we walk towards expecting something good on the other side. Nobody ever wishes evil for themselves, even when they are surrounded by deep darkness they always hope for a good outcome. Hope fills the heart with expectancy and in many cases peace even if that peace is temporary. Do not lose hope children keep it at the center of your heart, hold it close to you, it will help you not to sink into despair. Children if you know me by now you understand that I do not plan anything evil for you. Even when you go through periods of sadness and turmoil I still expect you to hold up your head, hope in me and keep on living the abundant life. Irrespective of what is going on life continues. Time stops for no one, no matter the tragedies of today, tomorrow comes. The sun will break forth and time will continue. Of all the major events that have taken place in this life during your own lifetime time has never stopped or slowed down. No tragedy or disaster will stop time. Life must go on after the disaster or tragedy. Yes the event will be remembered and discussed for a little while but eventually it becomes part of history, part of the past, something to either be remembered or forgotten. What is an important event in your life is non consequential to someone else. You each have individual experiences that greatly impact your lives yet are meaningless to others even those close around you. No matter the tragedies, no matter the victories tomorrow is a new day with new challenges of its own which you must face. Therefore life must go on regardless of what has happened or is happening in your life. Do not get stuck in a rut; do not squeeze your whole life and all your life experiences into a single moment in your life. Do not remain frozen in a certain time because of a tragedy that occurred at the said time. You cannot live in the past because time does not just exist in the past it exists in the present and into the future and however tragic the events of the past, challenges will still occur in the present and into the future. Therefore instead of being stuck in a particular time that has already passed I beseech you to look to the present and the future with the expectation of experiencing something good, this is hope and it draws you away from the tunnel of dread and despair. Look to me, Jesus, I am your hope therefore hope in me for there is nothing evil or twisted in me. All I have and all I am is always good and I desire to see my goodness in your life. You are not a failure, you are not defeated, you are not unimportant or insignificant, you were not born by mistake, your life has meaning and you have a specific purpose to fulfill upon this earth therefore come out of your place of pain, hurt, hate and despair. Take a step forward into hope and cling to me. Even when you know the outcome of an event still cling to me I am here for you always. Hope in me, Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

Amen.
