The serpent of sin Part 2
The world lacks foresight, many of my own children lack foresight. It is so easy to do something in the present as dictated by the flesh completely ignoring the future implications of your current actions. This is the way of the world, the do what feels good generation. Children if you indulge in the flesh you will reap of the flesh in full measure. There are no shortcuts in life you may get away with something once or twice but one day you will pay the price for your foolish behavior. Stop playing with fire, you cannot tame a serpent, its temperament and nature is to attack violently whether it is provoked or not. Sin is a serpent, it may lay down quietly for a little while as you stroke it but soon it will get fed up turn around and bite you. You can only get away with rebellion for so long but sooner or later you will get bitten by that poisonous serpent of sin and if I do not remove the poison from you, you could die in your sin lost to me forever. I am here to expel the poison from that savage bite but you must ask for my help, for my hand of rescue. Stop playing games, that poison is coursing down your veins and if you do not receive help soon it will reach your heart and kill you. Do not let sin find a permanent resting place in your heart. Guard your heart, from it comes your innermost thoughts. Guard your heart, do not allow it to be filled with poison, do not let it drown in the poison of sin. I know sin feels good to your flesh but I am willing to help you overcome it. Without my Holy Spirit it is an impossible task for the flesh cannot be overcome by the flesh but by the Spirit, my Holy Spirit. You cannot rescue yourself, you cannot save yourself if this was true I would not have lived on this earth and died on Calvary’s cross. It is because it is impossible for you to overcome sin in your flesh that I died, that I may cleanse you, save you and send my Holy Spirit to you to help you through your earthly journey. Put down your pride and accept the help that I so willingly and freely offer you. Look at your life, study it, what decisions have you made in the flesh in the past that have had lasting consequences in your life? One night of sexual immorality can lead to an unplanned pregnancy, an STD or a divorce. One night of drinking can lead to a DUI accident in which someone is killed. A one time experiment with drugs can lead to a lifetime of addiction. A one time indulgence in pornography can lead to a lifetime of sexual addiction and sexual perversions. Sometimes it only takes one try and the consequences of that one action can be life altering, a life destroyed, a future wasted fighting a one time foolish decision. Children it is time to stop thinking with your flesh and start listening to my voice warning you to stop before you cross the point of no return. Yes you can repent afterwards and if you are sincere I will forgive you but that may not excuse you from living with the consequences of your actions. I am talking to you yes you who is about to cross the point of no return, this is my final warning to you, turn back now, walk away now before it is too late. I warn all, all whether they belong to me or not so do not be shocked that I, Jesus, I am talking to you even though you hate and blaspheme me, even though you are not a Christian. Listen and obey and turn away from wickedness. I am here to rescue you, do not wait too long; time is not on your side. I love you.
